Care tips for jewelry that lasts a lifetime

Each material we use has its own unique character — and with the right care, your jewelry will stay beautiful for years. Here’s how to care for each type:

9kt Gold

Timeless, durable, and low-maintenance.

Recycled 9kt gold won’t easily tarnish or oxidize, making it perfect for everyday wear.

Care Tips:

  • Store safely in the included box when not worn
  • Gently polish with the soft cloth provided
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, salt water, and chlorine
  • Remove before swimming, sleeping, or cleaning

A little care goes a long way with solid gold.

925 Sterling Silver

Bright, classic, and made to last.

Our recycled, nickel-free sterling silver is perfect for everyday use, though it may naturally oxidize over time.

Care Tips:

  • Store in a dry place away from air and moisture
  • Wipe clean after wearing to remove residue and oils
  • Avoid water, perfumes, and cleaning products
  • Refresh shine with the included polishing cloth

With regular care, silver keeps its glow for years.

Solid Brass

Golden warmth with a vintage soul.

Made from recycled brass, this material may darken or develop a patina — some love this aged look, but it can also be polished back to a brighter shine.

Care Tips:

  • Store in the enclosed box to limit oxidation
  • Wipe after each wear
  • Avoid water, perfume, and soap
  • Use the included polishing cloth
  • To remove tarnish: mix vinegar with water and gently scrub with a soft toothbrush

Whether polished or aged, brass tells its own story.

Gold- & Silver-Plated Brass

Beautiful, accessible, and easy to wear.

These pieces are crafted from gold- or silver-plated brass, chosen for their warm shine and affordability. While durable, plating is a surface finish and needs extra care to keep it looking its best.

Care Tips:

  • Avoid contact with water, perfume, sweat, and cleaning products
  • Gently wipe with a soft cloth after wearing to remove oils and residue
  • Store in a dry place, ideally in the enclosed box or a soft pouch
  • Do not polish too harshly it can remove the plating over time — use a gentle cloth only

With mindful care, plated jewelry will maintain its beautiful finish longer.

9ct gold v.s. Brass

In the photo on the right, you can see the difference in color between 9ct gold and brass. Brass is a beautiful, more affordable alternative to solid gold, though it may develop surface stains a little faster. The good news? Every piece comes with a polishing cloth, so you can easily restore its shine whenever needed.

Unlike gold-plated jewelry, which permanently fades once the layer wears off, brass can always be polished back to life. This makes it a wonderful budget-friendly option for those who love the look of handmade gold jewelry without the higher price tag.
